The Winslow Bulldogs went 1-1 last weekend, falling to Snowflake, then rebounding to defeat Holbrook.
The Bulldogs downed Holbrook 62-32 in a home game Saturday night. The win improved Winslow’s re-cord to 12-5.
The Bulldogs led 14-11 after the first quarter and had a 24-13 lead at the half. The margin was a comfort-able 52-22 after three quarters of play.
Michael Goldtooth led all scorers with 14 points for the Bulldogs. Stevin Nelson was also in double figures for Winslow with 10 points and Timothy Little added 9. Andon Hatch led Holbrook with 10 points.

The Lobos defeated the Bulldogs 65-54 Friday night in Snowflake.
The Lobos led 11-9 after the first quarter and 25-18 at the half. The margin was a comfortable 45-31 after three quarters of play.
Michael Goldtooth led all scorers with 25 points for Winslow. Lukas Shirley added 10 points. Reggie Peterson led Snowflake with 15 points. Nick Shumway added 12 and Chase Walden, 10.

Winslow was scheduled to play the Coconino Panthers in Flagstaff on Tuesday and will play the Flagstaff Eagles there tonight (Jan. 9). They will be at Ganado to meet the Hornets on Thursday, Jan. 10, and at Window Rock on Tuesday, Jan. 15, to play the Scouts.
