The Scouts earned a 64-48 win over the visiting Winslow Bulldogs Tuesday night in Window Rock. The loss dropped Winslow’s record to 12-8 for the season. It continued a difficult start to the 2013 portion of the schedule for the Bulldogs during which they have lost four out of five games.
Window Rock started strong and built a 24-12 first quarter lead. A poor second quarter in which they scored only three points had the Bulldogs trailing 37-15 at the half. The margin was 56-36 after three quarters of play.
Ian Bahe paced the attack for the Scouts with 15 points, followed by Alex Destea with 12 and Darren Ashley with 10. Michael Goldtooth and Frank Kelly led the Bulldogs with 9 points each.

Winslow will host Flagstaff tonight (Jan. 18) and Monument Valley on Saturday. The Bulldogs will journey to Holbrook on Tuesday, Jan. 22, to meet the Roadrunners and will be in Page on Thursday, Jan. 24, to meet the Sand Devils. Left in the regular season are home games with Coconino on Friday, Jan. 25, and Tuba City on Thursday, Jan. 31.
