A young Winslow man was hospitalized last week after being stabbed at the Sundown Mobile Home Park on West Highway 66 and a second young man was charged with attempted murder in connection with the incident.
According to the police report, at approximately 9:09 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, Winslow police officers responded to a residence in the park after a woman reported that her son had been stabbed. The victim, Brennon Anderson, 19, was stabbed in the side and lower abdomen by a suspect later located by officers and arrested at gunpoint.
Matthew Manygoats, 19, of Winslow was booked into the Navajo County Jail and charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault, as well as three warrants.
Anderson was transported to the Little Colorado Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, and his condition is unknown.
