The Joseph City Wildcats came home from the Division IV State Wrestling Meet with four place winners and a 10th place team finish.
Camp Verde took the team title with 243.5 points, followed by St. Johns with 195.5 and Morenci with 164.5. The Wildcats scored 61.5 team points.
Josh Burt was Joseph City’s highest place winner, claiming third in the 132 class with a 5-1 record.
Kyle Crosby placed fifth at 113 with a 3-2 mark. Colton Spurlock, wrestling at 126, finished 2-3 for sixth place. Tyson South was also 2-3 and placed sixth in the 152 class.
Dakota Thomas went 2-2 with a pair of forfeit wins in the 285 class.
Robert Larsen was 1-2 at 220.
Waylon Hansen at 145 and Chance Bray at 160 both made it to the state meet, but went 0-2.
