Nana Frances Hoke, 69, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. Family funeral services were held Feb. 16 at Greer’s Mortuary Chapel in Winslow, with Bishop Todd Turley officiating. She was buried in Desert View Cemetery in Winslow.
Nana was born in Globe on Nov. 12, 1943, to Virgil Wayne Hoke and Ouida Belle Chumley Hoke. She attended school in Winslow through the third grade, and graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1963.
Survivors include her brothers, William, Kenneth (Diane), Robert, Stanley, Michael (Julie), Patrick (Robin) and Jerry Hoke; her sister, Loralie (Charlie) Poll; and numerous nieces and nephews, and their families.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, and her brother Thomas.
