Twenty-five riders competed in a barrel racing event presented by Shasta & Co. Rodeo Events Feb. 23 in Holbrook.

In 1-D competition, Lisa Johnson, riding Brice, won with a time of 18.787, earning $82.03; followed by Terry Zenkawich on Seal in 19.033, earning $49.22; Bailee Bain on Salty in 19.154, earning $32.81; Rosita Singer on Dixie in 19.233; Carolee DeWitt on Tiny’s Gay Hawk in 19.277; Randy Johnson on Garnet in 19.626; Rosita Singer on Romeo in 19.645; and Summer Lunt on Boomer in 19.768.

In 2-D competition, Julia Begay, riding Corn Pollen, won with a time of 26.301, earning $57; followed by Angel Dickson on Josh in 26.840.
In 4-D competition, Taylor Foster, riding Wyoming, and Brakelle Hansen, riding Nenakat, posted no time.
