The City of Holbrook will be holding an election for three city council seats on Tuesday, March 12. The polling place is located in the city council chambers at city hall and will be open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. the day of the election.
Councilmen Richard Peterson, Wade Carlisle and Myron Maxwell are running unopposed for re-election.
According to City Clerk Cher Reyes, 800 early ballots have been sent out, and can be returned in the postage-paid envelopes or dropped off at city hall.
Those wishing to cast their ballot on election day must have a photo ID, such as a driver’s license, in order to vote. Reyes said if the voter’s address on the photo ID does not match the address given on the voter rolls, the voter must provide two proofs of his or her current residence in order to vote.
