The Winslow Lady Bulldog softball team remained undefeated after sweeping a doubleheader from the Lady Vikings in Williams March 20. The victories improved Winslow’s record to a perfect 9-0.
The Bulldogs easily got past Williams 17-0 in the first game, which was shortened to three innings. The second game was a 6-2 win for Winslow and went the full seven innings. Coach Kelly Fifelski rested her regulars in the second contest and allowed her bench players to see most of the action.
The Bulldogs will journey to Page on Friday, March 29, to meet the Lady Sand Devils in a doubleheader. The girls will remain away from home on Tuesday, April 2, when they travel to Polacca to meet the Hopi Lady Bruins. Winslow’s next home game will be at 4 p.m. on Monday, April 8, against the Joseph City Lady Wildcats.
