Delford Williams, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 31, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock this morning (April 10) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Winslow. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. in the Relief Society Room. Interment will follow at Desert View Cemetery
He was born in Howell Mesa, Ariz., on May 13, 1947.
Delford was a wonderfu1 brother, uncle, and grandpa. He enjoyed silversmithing, photography, running and painting.
He was a military press photographer for the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict.
Survivors include his brother, Clarence; four sisters, Elsie Williams, Dorothy Naha, Linda Duran of Winslow and Sera Holder of Flagstaff; and his two in-laws, Calvin Holder and Lorraine Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Annie Williams; three brothers, James Andrew Williams, Eugene R. Williams Sr. and Francis Jim Williams; and a niece, Beatrice Naha.
