The chair has a 350-pound limit and makes the swimming pool accessible to handicapped swimmers who cannot use the pools stairs. A second chair has been installed in the hot tub at the swimming pool. According to City Manager Ray Alley, the two chairs cost a total of $5,000 and the city saved almost $1,000 by doing the installation work.
