Our father Marvin Arch “Archie” Reidhead went to be with our Lord at 11:14 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday April 27, at the Heber Cemetery.
Archie was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Linden to the late Marvin A. and Neoma (Porter) Reidhead, He was the eldest of 10 children.
His passion was working in the woods. As a young man he loved playing baseball and his favorite team was the New York Yankees. He had a love for animals, but his favorite past time was raising his chickens.
As a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he instilled in his children that this is not the end, that we will be reunited as a family once again.
Survivors include Irma (Ray) Pogue of Holbrook, Archie (Doris) Reidhead of Clay Springs, Tony (Patricia) Reidhead of Chino Valley, Graciela Dionne Reidhead of Heber, Brian Fuller of Salt Lake City, Utah, Brenda Sabin of Milan, Pa., and Jason (Michelle) Howell of Salt Lake City; four sisters, Mina (Montie) Owens, Joe (Bill) Owens, Lucinda (Jessie) Merril and Marvona (Jeff) McCray; three brothers, Alvin (Marge) Reidhead, Dean (Elwanda) Reidhead and Paul (Chantel) Reidhead; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin A. Reidhead and Neoma Porter Reidhead; one sister, Jean Hayes; one brother: Ronnie Reidhead; a grandson, Antonio Reidhead Jr.; and his spouse, Jeanie Glen Reidhead.
