Competing with 25 other teams at the Winslow Invitational meet last Friday, the Wildcats of Joseph City came home with several top 10 finishes in individual events.
In the boys’ 400 meter dash, Josh Burt placed fourth with a time of 53.34 and Landon Baldwin was 28th in 1:00.
In the 800 meter run, Forester Flake finished 24th with a time of 2:18.
In the 1600 meter run, Tyler Hudson was 21st in with a time of 5:04 and Landen Hunt was 35th.
In the 110 meter hurdles, Chance Rush placed first in with a time of 15.98.
In the 300 meter hurdles, Chance Rush was 20th with a time of 47.17.
The team of Landon Baldwin, Forester Flake, Daniel Hutchens and Landen Hunt placed 11th in the 4×800 meter relay with a time of 9:12.
In the shot put, Conner Neal placed sixth with a toss of 40-10 and Harrison Lorenc was 22nd.
In the discus, Harrison Lorenc placed 11th with a throw of 34-09.
In the long jump, Jacob Fields placed second with a distance of 20-03, Lance Farnes was 23rd and Daniel Hutchens, 27th.
In the triple jump, Jacob Fields finished eighth with a distance of 38-10 and Lance Farnes was 24th.
In the girls’ 100 meter dash, Alyssa Hutchens placed 26th with a time of 14.82.
In the 200 meter dash, Lindi Gardner was 17th with a time of 29.12 and Alyssa Hutchens was 31st.
In the 400 meter run, Lindi Gardner placed fourth with a time of 1:03.
In the 100 meter hurdles, Brooke Baldwin placed sixth with a time of 17.30.
In the 300 meter hurdles, Brooke Baldwin finished fifth, posting a time of 52.06.
In the shot put, Madisen Fields placed fifth with a toss of 31-09 and Kaitlyn Pugh was seventh with 30-03.
In the discus, Madisen Fields finished fifth with a distance of 98-00 and Kaitlyn Pugh was 16th.
In the long jump, Alyssa Hutchens placed 28th with a distance of 11-04.
