As part of their Run For The Wall tribute, veterans and their supporters passed by Hulet Elementary School on Thursday, May 16, where students and faculty wave the flag and cheer the motorcyclists on. This activity shows support for their ride from California to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C. The Run For the Wall is a yearly event, remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to preserve freedom for all Americans.
After passing by the schools, the motorcyclists participating in the annual Run For The Wall stopped by the American Legion in Holbrook to enjoy a lunch prepared and donated by businesses and community members, with live entertainment provided by the Holbrook High School Fusion Band (upper right).
The American Legion was busy serving lunch to motorcyclists participating in the Run For The Wall. Cyclists will finish their ride at “The Wall” in Washington, D.C., where the names of soldiers who died in the Vietnam War are listed.
The screaming eagle portrayed on the front of this motorcycle was just one of many with a patriotic theme to show support for the service men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.
