Lorin Dee Weber, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in Snowflake. Services are pending at this time. Please contact Silver Creek Mortuary at (928) 536-4045 for further information.
He was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Alexander and Florence May Weber. He was the second of four children.
Lorin graduated from Rigby (Idaho) High School and Ricks College in Rexburg. After serving his country during the Korean War, he did graduate work at Brigham Young University, where he met and married Gale Wilde on Dec. 28, 1954, in the Salt Lake Temple. He ultimately earned a master’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Oakridge. After working for the National Reactor Testing Station in Arco, Idaho, he taught math and physics at Ricks College from 1964-94.
He dedicated his life to the Lord and his family. He was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed working in the Snowflake Temple, and led an exemplary life of service and hard work–especially behind the scenes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Lorin.
Survivors include his wife, Gale; and six children, Brent, Steven, LaRene, Douglas, Matthew and Rachel.
