The Horsehead Crossing Historic District Group will be hosting events in conjunction with Holbrook’s Wild West Days on Friday and Saturday, July 12 and 13.
At 3 p.m. on Friday musician Leland Crowther will perform western songs.
Activities for both days include performances by the Bucket of Blood Re-Enactors beginning at 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. There will be opportunities to have photos taken in western costumes while seated around the original poker table from the Bucket of Blood Saloon. Catherine H. Ellis will also be on hand to autograph copies of her book, Holbrook and the Petrified Forest.
The historic railroad station will be open for viewing, and there will also be vendors on hand selling merchandise to benefit the restoration of the Horsehead Crossing District.
