Norina (Norine) Jaramillo, 57, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Memorial Mass was celebrated Aug. 2, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winslow, with Father Jeffrey King officiating.
She was born March 2, 1956, in Winslow.
Norina was a single parent who went back to school later in life. She worked for the Department of Economic Security for several years until she became ill.
She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, playing Bingo, spoiling her grandchildren, listening to music, dancing and going to the casino.
Survivors include her children, David John (Alex), Maria Gonzales (Richard), Norita John, Santos Pete Burrola Sr. and Luis Amador Macias; her mother, Teresa V. Jaramillo; six sisters, Mary Ann Chavez (David), Pauline Araujo (Salvador), Guadalupe Lee, Catherine Estudillo (Joseph), Rosie Flores (Richard) and Tina Crawson (Terry); two brothers, Teddy Jaramillo and Paul Jaramillo; 18 grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosa Erlinda Macias; her father, Juan Ralph Jaramillo Jr.; two brothers, Ernest and Bobby Jaramillo; and her grandparents, Frank F. and Maria G. Villaescusa.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
