The 25th annual Navajo County Fair Little Buckaroo Rodeo drew kids from throughout the county to the fairgrounds in Holbrook Sept. 14 to compete for the fastest times in sheep, calf and steer riding, as well as dummy roping and barrel racing.
In sheep riding, Tannon Morrow placed first; Cordarrel Henry, second; and Kaydence Perry, third.
In calf riding, Noah Thomas placed first; RJay Thomas, second; and Blayk Kelton, third.
In steer riding, Tykal Nez, placed first; Alez Enos, second; and Jayk Kelton, third.
In the 3 to 5 year olds dummy roping, Waylon Peters placed first; Noah Chee, second; and Waylon Miller, third. In the 6 to 8 year olds dummy roping, Kevin Williams, placed first; Myles Williams, second; and Ethan Yazzie, third. In the 9 to 12 year olds dummy roping, Daelyn Nez, placed first; Jaken Todacheenie, second; and Dylan Nez, third.
In the 6 to 8 year olds barrel racing, RJay Thomas placed first; Ashlynn McCleve, second; and Rylee Finch, third. In the 9 to 12 year olds barrel racing, Haylee Finch, placed first; Jessica Todacheenie, second; and Makena McCleve and Kordale DeSpain tied for third.
