A National Barrel Horse Association competition was held Sept. 21 in St. Johns.
Results for Open Barrels follow.
In 1-D competition, Lisa Johnson, riding Brice, won with a time of 17.017, earning $95; followed by Lisa Johnson on Cutie in 17.288, earning $57; Callie Vano on Geez in 17.299, earning $38; and Bonnie Stradling on Ike in 17.444.
In 2-D competition, Pandora Wyatt, riding Lena, won with a time of 17.612, earning $81; followed by Tammy Davis on Beep in 17.628, earning $49; Carolee DeWitt on Tiny’s Gay Hawk in 17.667, earning $32; Michele Ulibarri on Mea in 17.707; Jolene Baird on Sassie in 17.794; and Patti Swapp on Adie Lena in 18.016.
In 3-D competition, Sarah Darst, riding Hank, won with a time of 18.019, earning $54; followed by Brigitte Kennison on Halle in 18.053, earning $32; Savannah Stanley on Topez in 18.226, earning $22; Randy Johnson on Garnet in 18.232; Mylea McBride on SPD in 18.248; Korie Keith on Faith in 18.559; Danielle Winn on Grace in 18.677; Jolene Baird on Vintage Pink Jessie in 18.733; Debbie Garvin on Jo’s Pistol Dunit in 18.887; and Cindy Irvine on Sweet Pea in 18.964.
In 4-D competition, Kim Henry, riding Captain, won with a time of 19.047, earning $41; followed by Gail Campbell on Robin in 19.350, earning $24; Korie Keith on Cinder in 19.853, earning $16; Betty Campbell on First Down Boone in 20.578; and Jessica Wolfe on Not the Cheatin’ Kind, Shelly Wolfe on Lulu and Shelly Wolfe on Einstein, all with no time.

In 3-D competition, Jessica Wolfe, riding Not the Cheatin’ Kind, posted no time.
