The Lady Lobos have moved out to a 4-4 beginning to the soccer season, earning two of those four wins this past week.
On Tuesday the Lobos posted a 2-0 victory over Show Low, with Kylee Smith and Macie Rawlins each finding the mark. All total, Snowflake took seven shot attempts in the win.
Thursday’s home match with Chino Valley resulted in a 2-1 win over the Lady Cougars. Smith again found the mark off an assist from Rawlins. Rawlins then took an assist from Amanda Lara and found the back of the net, helping Snowflake to the win. Snowflake moved the ball well, taking 14 shots on goal throughout the match.
The Lady Lobos have split matches with River Valley, and picked up wins over Payson, Show Low and Chino Valley. Their losses have been to Blue Ridge, Desert Christian and Kirtland Central.
