Linda Honhepiwey Johnson, 73, of Snowflake died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low following a lengthy illness. A private graveside service will be held at the Show Low Cemetery.
Linda was born in Mazatlan, Coaqhuaquilla, Mexico, to the late Honhepiwey and Esparanza (Garcia) Johnson.
As a young girl, Linda ventured out on her own and moved to Arizona in 1954.
She was a homemaker throughout her life, and was a quiet and unassuming woman. She was known to many in the neighborhoods where she lived, and will warmly be remembered for how well she cared for her yard. She loved to water her lawn and always had some of the greenest grass this side of heaven.
Survivors include her dear friend, Judy Hansen, who looked after her and cared for her needs.
Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel of Show Low was in charge of the arrangements.
