A National Barrel Horse Association competition was held Oct. 5 in St. Johns.
Results for Open Barrels follow.
In 1-D competition, Megan Stock, riding Cash, won with a time of 15.740, earning $91; followed by Lisa Johnson on Cutie in 15.797, earning $55; Kallie Brannon on Teddy in 15.883, earning $36; Tammy Davis on Beep in 15.949; London Willis on Brewster in 16.053; Pat Wood on Cowgirl in 16.070; Dereck Curley on Peanut in 16.162; and Jolene Baird on Sassie in 16.230.
In 2-D competition, Patti Swapp, riding Adie Lena, won with a time of 16.435, earning $78; followed by Michele Ulibarri on Mea in 16.492, earning $47; Gail Campbell on Cash in 16.493, earning $31; Mylea McBride on SPD in 16.545; Randy Johnson on Garnet in 16.560; Debbie Garvin on Jo’s Pistol Dun It in 16.611; and London Willis on Macy Grey in 16.689.
In 3-D competition, Lisa Johnson, riding Brice, won with a time of 16.859, earning $52, followed by Savannah Stanley on Topez in 17.048, earning $31; Carolee DeWitt on Tiny’s Gay Hawk in 17.432, earning $21; Betty Campbell on First Down Boone in 17.581; and Jolene Baird on Vintage Pink Jessie in 17.627.
In 4-D competition, Brigitte Kennison, riding Halle, won with a time of 18.271, earning $39; followed by Sylvia Kennison on Emma in 22.189, earning $23; Pat Wood on Sai Hi in 22.739, earning $16; Sarah Darst on Hank in 24.174; and Pat Wood on The Colonel and Callie Vano on Oh Geez, both with no time.

In 1-D competition, Ashley McDowell, riding Weekender, won with a time of 16.487, earning $48; followed by Mylea McBride on SPD in 16.545; Marie Ortega on Buck in 16.581; and Shyann Stephens on Chuck in 17.136.
In 2-D competition, Brigitte Kennison, riding Halle, won with a time of 18.271, earning $29.
In 3-D competition, Sarah Darst, riding Hank, won with a time of 24.174, earning $19.
