Crucita R. Espinoza, 83, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at her home in Holbrook. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, at the family home, 702 N. Second St. in Holbrook.
She was born to the late Doroteo and Lucinan Domingez on May 3, 1930, in Winslow.
Crucita always kept her mind busy, whether it was reading a good book, The Arizona Republic from cover to cover or even the encyclopedia. She had many different articles that she would cut out of the paper and eventually she would turn them into scrapbooks. She enjoyed puzzles and always felt that, too, would keep her “sharp.”
An avid dancer, she loved different types of music and was great at all types of dance. She enjoyed sewing and playing Bingo, but she found her most joy when her family would visit…especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary Post #37 in Holbrook and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, also in Holbrook.
Survivors include her previous husband and dear friend, Tony Espinoza; three children, Priscilla Naranjo (Tom Derse), Carol Espinoza and Anthony Espinoza; three grandchildren, Jason Ulibarri (Alli), Eraina Naranjo (Tolino Coronado) and Jarod Ulibarri (Celia Eckrote); seven great-grandchildren, Daijerin Coronado, Gage Coronado, Aramis Coronado, Mariah Bader, Mateo Ulibarri, Gabriel Ulibarri and Isaac Ulibarri; and two brothers, Anastacio Domingez (Joann) and Joe Domingez.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Delores Lopez, Dora Brown and Flora Romero; and a brother, Alfred Domingez.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook was in charge of the arrangements.Obit-Crucita Espinoza
