Lee Ash, 65, passed away peacefully into God’s arms on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, while holding his wife’s hand in the comfort of his home in Sun Valley. A celebration of Lee’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the First Assembly of God Church, 500 Mission Lane in Holbrook.
He was happiest when he was fishing and hiking. His greatest joy was his dogs. He also deeply loved being a grandfather. His greatest pride was the 14 years he spent driving a fuel tanker for Bradco in Holbrook.
He wanted the world to know how blessed he was. Lee asked that we not be sorrowful on this day; but rather that we rejoice and remember his love of life.
Survivors include his loving wife Kathie; his beloved daughter Tracy (Kenneth) Heck of Las Vegas, Nev., his son Scott (Laura) Ash of Prescott, his stepdaughter Jennifer Ward of Tempe, his stepson Michael (Lisa) Codding of Greeley, Colo., his stepdaughter Sherri (Chris) Weber of Texas and his stepdaughter Heather Gonzales of Mesa; and 11 grandchildren. He was expecting the first great-grandchild in December.
Lee requested that rather than flowers, a donation be made to the memorial fund in the name of Lee Ash at Bank of The West.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook was in charge of the arrangements.Lee Ash
