Photo by Matthew Barger The City of Winslow is preparing for the season as city workers attach holiday banners to the light poles along the main streets this week. To kick off the festivities, the city will host the 67th annual Christmas parade at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, with vendors lining Second and Third streets beginning that morning.  Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with little ones from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Visitor Center, located at 523 W. Second St. Photos, face painting and a toddlers carnival will also be available behind the Visitor Center.
