The Lady Lobos moved their overall season mark to 5-2 with an impressive 47-28 home court win over Blue Ridge last Tuesday evening.
Playing their second to last regular season game prior to the break the Lobos got a nice game from Tycee Coplan, who scored a season high 17 points in the win. Marisa Godfrey and Annika Decker both added 8. Jessica Neff scored 6 points and controlled the boards with 17 rebounds. Kadi Johnson scored 4 points, and Macie Rawlins and Kimber Solomon each netted 2 in the win. The Lobos made a path to the free throw line, where they attempted 40 charity tosses, making good on 17 of them.
Snowflake was scheduled to host Window Rock on Monday evening, and will play in the opening round of the Winslow Winter Classic on Thursday, Dec. 19, with a match up against Hopi. Following this weekend’s tournament the Lobos will be off until the first week of January. They return to the court with three straight road games. Trips to Payson on Jan. 3, Holbrook on Jan. 7 and Sedona on Jan. 9 round out their first week back after the holiday break.
