Photo by Naomi Hatch The Town of Snowflake and the Snowflake-Taylor Chamber of Commerce put on a very well attended First Day of Christmas celebration. Many dozen cookies were provided by members of the town’s churches, and businesses provided hot chocolate to keep everyone warm. The Snowflake Heritage Foundation hosts the 12 Days of Christmas each year. Mr. & Mrs. Santa came this year in a car provided by Hatch Motors. They will be seen throughout the community as they visit with children who are letting them know what they want for Christmas.

The Frontier Drive Christmas lights were beautiful this year, thanks to Snowflake Councilwoman Beverlee Kay’s work in organizing the event, to the many businesses and families that decorated trees. Santa was on hand to visit with Collins Chapman, Ashlyn Nicholls and Clay Chapman, and members of the Snowflake Town Council served hot chocolate to help warm everyone. Frontier Drive is still decked out in lights, decorated trees and posters, and will surely put you in the Christmas spirit.
