James Cameron “JC” Dutcher passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, in Mesa. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Pioneer Park Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Snowflake, with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
He was born Oct. 5, 1987, in Show Low to Chuck and Holly Dutcher. He was raised in Snowflake, where he graduated high school in 2005. He was a member of the LDS church.
JC will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and his big heart. He brought joy and laughter into the lives of everyone that knew him, and he was a creator of unforgettable memories for many. He put others before himself, was always willing to help and saw the good in everyone.
Survivors include his grandfather, Ken Smith of St. George, Utah; his parents, Chuck and Holly Dutcher of Snowflake; his siblings, Aaron (Randa) Dutcher of Mesa, Lexie (Jake) Hatch of Taylor, Max (Brooke) Dutcher of Mesa, Michelle (TK) Stratton of Chandler and Katherine (Brandt) Perkins of Tokyo, Japan; and 16 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Floyd Dutcher; his grandmothers, Shirley Dutcher, Mary Smith and Neva Smith; and an uncle, Dan Smith.
