The Lady Bulldogs lost a heartbreaker in overtime on the road against Page last Friday night, but rebounded with an easy win over visiting Globe the following night. Their record now stands at 8-4.
Against the Page Lady Sand Devils, Winslow led 13-6 after the first quarter and 21-16 at the half. The margin was trimmed to 31-30 by the end of the third period and the score was 37-37 at the end of regulation. The Bulldogs got only two points in the overtime period. Page’s Monique Fuller hit a three-pointer and Jordan Kensley got her only two points of the contest on a pair of free throws to earn the 42-39 win.
Shandiin Armao led all scorers with 12 points for Winslow, followed by Marcella Joe with 8, and Tannon Tom and Halle Hayes with 7 each for the Bulldogs.
Autumn Whitehorse led Page with 9 points, while Ember Sloan and Monique Fuller each scored 8 for the Sand Devils.

Winslow easily topped the Globe Lady Tigers Saturday night on the home court.
The Bulldogs were never headed as they built a 25-4 first period lead and were up 43-6 at the half. The second half was played quickly as the running clock rule came into effect in the final period. Winslow led 52-12 after three periods.
Hayes led all scorers with 15 points for Winslow, followed by Armao with 12, Jacey Sangster with 8 and Michaela Bia with 7.
Dusty Mallow led Globe with 5 points.

The Bulldogs were slated to host the Hopi Lady Bruins Tuesday night. They will travel to Whiteriver on Thursday, Jan. 9, to meet the Alchesay Lady Falcons and play the Lady Warriors on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Tuba City.
