The Winslow Lady Bulldogs easily topped the Hopi Lady Bruins 59-20 Tuesday evening at home. The win improved Winslow’s record to 9-4 for the season.
The game was never close and the outcome was really decided in the first quarter when Winslow raced to a commanding 27-2 advantage. The margin was 39-8 by the intermission and Winslow starters played very little for the rest of the game. The lead was 52-16 after three quarters and the running clock rule was in effect.
Halle Hayes led the Winslow offense with 12 points and Shandiin Armao tallied 10 points for the Lady Bulldogs.
Lynnae Harvey was Hopi’s top scorer with 6 points.

The Lady Bulldogs were in Whiteriver Thursday night to meet the Alchesay Lady Falcons. They will play the Lady Warriors on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Tuba City.
