The Winslow Lady Bulldogs pushed their record to 11-4 last week with road wins over the Alchesay Lady Falcons on Thursday and the Tuba City Lady Warriors on Saturday.
Thursday night’s game was very close early on, with Alchesay leading 11-8 after the first quarter and by a commanding 32-20 at the half. Winslow rallied to tie the game at 45-all by the end of the third, then outscored Alchesay 23-7 in the crucial fourth quarter to secure the hard fought 68-52 victory.
Shandiin Armao led all scorers with 19 points for Winslow. Halle Hayes tallied 16 points for the Bulldogs and Tannon Tom added 12.
Raleigh Johnson led Alchesay with 15 points, followed by Patricia Tessay with 13.

Winslow held a 17-15 advantage after the first quarter and maintained the lead 29-25 at the half and 36-32 after three quarters. The fourth quarter saw the Bulldogs pull away by outscoring the Warriors 24-12 to post a 60-44 victory.
Marcella Joe and Armao led all scorers with 17 points each for the Bulldogs. Hayes added 10.
Tate Tsingine led Tuba City with 16 points.

The Bulldogs were slated to host the Round Valley Lady Elks on Tuesday and visit the Flagstaff Lady Eagles tonight (Jan. 15). They will host the Mingus Lady Marauders on Monday, Jan. 20.
