Deanna Dawn Hancock, 72, peacefully entered eternal rest on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, surrounded by family in Show Low.
She was born March 4, 1941, to William Ralph Hancock and Lou Whiting in San Bernardino, Calif. She was also raised in Pinedale, Tempe and Phoenix.
Deanna worked as a secretary/executive secretary in various places of employment, including the banking industry. She served 10 years in the Naval Reserves and earned many awards for exemplary service to her country.
She enjoyed horseback riding in her younger years and being outdoors in the mountains of Arizona. She performed service in the communities she lived and found joy in her church callings. She was dedicated to her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her son, Troy L. Bigelow and his wife Rebecca, daughter Kristel Lu Kishbaugh and her husband Mark, son William Todd Bigelow and his wife Jill; two sisters, Gaylon Hancock and Lorene Eagar; two brothers, Bill Hancock and Steve Hancock; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Ralph Hancock, and her mother, Lou Hancock.
