Doris Lee (Britt) Sema, 87, of Winslow passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, in Mesa. A Celebration of Doris’ Life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, at Mi Casa Care Center, 330 S. Pinnule Circle in Mesa.
Doris was born on Oct. 2, 1926, in Shawneetown, Mo., to the late Cleo and LB Britt.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Verge Taft, and her husband, Father Bill Taft.
Survivors include her son, Chuck, his wife, Adella, and two grandchildren, Clarissa and Nathan of Gilbert; her nieces, Andrea Davis (Phil) of Tampa, Fla., Diane LaVera of Glendale, Leslie Gilchrist (Brian) of Scottsdale, Tony Taft of Reno, Nev., Tracy Borut (Michael) of Colts Neck, N.J., and Kathy Hamerle (Ben) of Ogden, Utah, and her nephew, Rusty Taft of Quakertown, Pa., along with each of their families.
