The Bulldogs defeated the Window Rock Scouts 78-61 in a home game Tuesday evening. The win improved Winslow’s record to 20-10 for the season and was the fifth straight victory for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs had a narrow 18-14 lead at the end of the first quarter, then used a high scoring second period to build a comfortable 48-33 halftime advantage. The margin was a still commanding 64-42 lead after three quarters of play.
Stevin Nelson led all scorers with 20 points for Winslow, followed by Milland Thomas with 10.
Myron Wauneka led Window Rock with 14 points and Jacob Emerson added 13.
