Roman L. Jaramillo, 78, passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, with his family around him in Winslow. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Feb. 6 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winslow, with Father Jeffrey King officiating.
He was born on Feb. 19, 1935, in Seboyeta, N.M.
Roman served his country in the U.S. Army.
He went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad as a foreman and retired after 42 years.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Josie M. Jaramillo; his daughter, Bernice Jaramillo of Phoenix; his sister, Virginia Atencio of Albuquerque, N.M.; and his brother, Melvin Molina of Seboyeta.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Meliton and Beneranda Jaramillo.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
