A Family History Fair will be held on Saturday, March 15, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 205 Lee St. in Winslow.
The classes are geared toward people interested in learning how to do family history, and will be taught by local residents. Video classes from the RootsTech conference held in Salt Lake City, Utah, earlier in February will also be offered. There will be classes for beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.
The day will start with registration at 8 a.m. and keynote speakers at 8:30 a.m., followed by classes until 3 p.m. If you plan to stay for the afternoon classes, lunch will be available. Anyone interested is welcomed. Children 8 to 12 years old are also welcomed if they are accompanied by an adult.
In order for organizers to know how many to prepare for, participants are encouraged to register online before the conference at https://lds.org/familyhistoryfair.
