Improved post play and backcourt experience aligned with Lady Roadrunner pressuring defensive philosophies resulted in convincing victories over Winslow, Joseph City, Show Low, Canyon Day, Snowflake, Blue Ridge, Mogollon, Rim Country and St. Johns. The young Lady Roadrunners will host a post-season first round tournament game with Round Valley at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, at Mike Starr Gym. The squad includes (front row, left to right) Tashina Nelson, Twylah Clark, (second row) Dakota Dick, Tyler Pacheco, Tamika Begay, (third row) Kendra Monroe, Jessica Todacheenie, (back row) Elena Smith, Carla Plumb, Aiyana Gary, Makenzi Thompson and Rayanna Wauneka. The girls are coached by Loriel Beck, Keith Wheeler and Chris Obren.
