Arthur Randolph “Randy” Hensley, 62 of Tonto Basin, formerly of Holbrook, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, in Mesa. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, at the Holbrook Cemetery.
He was born on Jan. 3, 1952, to Allen and Tanny Hensley. He attended Holbrook Schools, followed by a technical school for automotive repair.
After school, Randy returned to Holbrook to run gas stations with his family until his retirement.
Upon his retirement, he eventually moved to Tonto Basin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, making lures, and spending time with lifelong friends and family.
Survivors include his four daughters, Brandi Hensley (Chris) of Winslow; Sandi Orozco (Aaron) of Las Vegas, Nev.; Misty O’Leary (Brandon) of Gilbert; and Dusty Rios (Ricardo) of Mesa; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Roman, Dylan, Aysia, Malec, Jada, Tres, Damon, and Mia; two brothers, Doug (Wanda) of Holbrook and Dennis of North Hollywood, Calif.; two sisters, Donna Hatch (Tim) of Holbrook and Kim Willis (Guy) of Holbrook; along with his nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard “Dick”; and his grandson, Jaxon.
