The annual Snowflake-Taylor Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, at the Our Lady of the Snow Community Center, 1655 South Main St. in Snowflake. The theme for the night is “Up.” Dinner will be steak or salmon.
Nominees for 2013 are: Business Man of the Year, Joe Bjorn of State Farm Insurance, Terril Kay of Kay Supply and Sam Matyas of The Carriage House; Business Woman of the Year, Sarah Brimhall of Clothing Alterations, Anna Brubaker of Silver Creek Mortuary and Amy Wiens of Ghostwriter Networking; Large Business of the Year, Arizona Public Service Co., Frontier Communications and National Bank of Arizona; Medium Business of the Year, The Carriage House, Sonic and Trappers Cafe; Small Business of the Year, Computer Technologies, Gift Baskets by Nancy, and Stock Up Hay & Feed; and Non-Profit of the Year, Community Counseling Centers, Lions Club and Northland Pioneer College.
Tickets are $25 per person or $200 for a table of eight, and are available at the chamber office, 113 N. Main St. in Snowflake, or by calling 536-4331.
