The Wildcats of Joseph City placed eighth in the boys’ division with 11 team points and ninth in the girls’ division with 21 points at the 15-team Round Valley Invitational Track meet held last Saturday in Eagar. Snowflake took the boys’ team title and Blue Ridge was crowned the winner in the girls’ team events.
In the 800 meter run for Joseph City, Landen Hunt was 10th; and Forester Flake, 15th.
In the 1600 meter run, Landen Hunt was 18th.
Landon Baldwin, Forester Flake, Landen Hunt and Daniel Hutchens placed third in the 4×800 meter relay.
In the shot put, Conner Neal was 10th; and Michael Diaz, 32nd.
In the high jump, Aaron Johnstun was 16th.
In the long jump, Daniel Hutchens was 11th; and Aaron Johnstun, 39th.
In the triple jump, Daniel Hutchens was fifth.
Competing in the girls’ 100 meter dash, Taylor Elmer was 22nd; and Anja Mathiesen, 28th.
In the 800 meter run, Shyann Flake was fifth.
In the 1600 meter run, Alyssa Hutchens was 23rd.
In the shot put, Madisen Fields was second; Kaitlyn Pugh, fifth; and Krista Edwards, seventh.
In the discus, Madisen Fields was second; Kaitlyn Pugh, fourth; and Krista Edwards, 20th.
In the long jump, Tricia Bay-Morgan was 27th; Alyssa Hutchens, 28th; Taylor Elmer, 30th; and Anja Mathiesen, 31st.
