The Winslow High School Speech and Debate team celebrated the end of the 2013-14 season with a potluck dinner for family and friends.
The program included the presentation of awards and a salute to the parents and volunteers by outgoing Speech Club Co-President, Brittany Fischer and Alexis Seivers. Two special awards were presented by Coaches Sarah Smithson and Marianne Richardson. Preston Greenwood was honored as Outstanding Speech Competitor, and Clinton Contreras was given the Courage in Adversity Award for keeping up with practices and competitions while waging a successful battle with cancer.
