Brooks Tyrell Click, 34, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, surrounded by loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Love Lake Chapel building in Taylor.
He lived in Taylor most of his life, and grew up loving baseball, boxing and bulldogs.
He became sick while serving a mission for the LDS church. He struggled each day with mental health issues, but tried to live life the best he could. He even enlisted in the Army and served for a short time, wanting to serve his country.
He kept every letter written to him and every gift someone gave him, no matter how small. To him, they were treasures of kindness, and he carefully placed and cherished them.
Survivors include his dad, James B. Click; his mother, Lily Lockhart Click; four brothers, Justin, Jimmy, Shorty and Anthony; two sisters, Kesty and Millinda; his other mother, Kristine Click; and two wonderful ladies he could have called mom who often looked out for him, Beverly and Marie.
He was preceded in death by his Aunt Venessa, Grandfather Cal and Grandmother Gloria.
