The Lobos saw their season come to a close on Friday afternoon with a 13-3 second round  state playoff loss to Palo Verde Magnet School from Tucson. Snowflake won their first round match up 11-1 over Rio Rico but the 12th seeded Lobos struggled against No. 5 seeded Palo Verde on Friday losing to the Titans 13-3.  Snowflake wraps up the season with an impressive overall record of 20-8 on the season.

Palo Verde went on to defeat Page in the quarterfinal round and will now face Fountain Hills in one of the two semi final contests on Friday.  Valley Christian and Northwest Christian square off in the other semi final match up.
