A combined law enforcement effort has led to the arrest of five Winslow residents on various drug charges.

On the morning of Wednesday, May 21, the Major Crimes Apprehension Team, with the assistance of the Winslow Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations and the Show Low Special Response Team, served a warrant at 216 W. Third St. in Winslow. The search reportedly revealed methamphetamine, marijuana, marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia, packaging material, scales and eight guns.

Those arrested in connection with the incident included:

* Timothy Samuel Egbert, 21, who was charged with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, misconduct involving weapons during a drug offense, possession of a weapon by a prohibited possessor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Dedrick Romero, 37, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant.

* Thomas Jon Egbert, 43, possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Breanna Denton, 21, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, misconduct involving weapons during a drug offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Edward Joseph Geer, 79, production of marijuana and possession of marijuana.

All suspects were booked into the Navajo County Jail.
