Eager young scientists who recently finished third, fourth or fifth grades are encouraged to sign up for one of the three exciting Robot Day Camps to be held on Mondays, June 16, 23 and 30, at the Holbrook Public Library. The day camps will be led by teachers Eldon Ferguson, Beth Baloo and Cindy McDaniel. Participating children will practice constructing working robots from Lego WeDo and Mindstorm EV3 components.
Each participant may register for only one day camp and pre-registration is required, but attendance is free. Space at these events is limited. The registration deadline for each event will be the Saturday prior. Interested students or parents should register at the library or phone 524-3732 during open hours. Places will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
This project was supported with funds granted by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records, a division of the Arizona Secretary of State, under the Library Services and Technology Act, which is administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
