Photo by Matthew Barger Workers are replacing the existing bridge at Five Mile Draw, located at milepost 366 on State Route 77, approximately six miles north of Snowflake. The three-span concrete slab bridge will be replaced with a new one span concrete girder bridge. The $3.2 million project, which is expected to be completed by January 2015, will include raising and widening the existing roadway, installing a new four-lane bridge, and removing and installing new guardrail. Work hours are 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The roadway will remain open during construction, but there may be short delays at varying times. There are narrow traffic lanes, wide load restrictions and a reduced speed limit through the work zone.
