Patrick A. Lowry went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 5, 2014. He was in his home, surrounded by his loved ones. A Celebration of “Pepa’s” Life was held July 10 at Desert View Baptist Church in Winslow, with Pastor Dean Ceccarelli officiating.
He was born on Nov. 24, 1938, in Phoenix to Pat and Frances Lowry.
Pat graduated from Winslow High School in 1957. He went to work for Santa Fe Railroad and then went into the Air Force, serving for years. He returned to Winslow and went back to the railroad until his retirement in 2000 after 43 years of service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Nelaine Lowry; a sister, Kerri Weeks (Jim) and brother-in-law, Walt Wellinger; two sons, J.G. Bolton and Patrick Lowry (Karen); a daughter, Susie Carlson (Mike); six grandchildren, Lawrence Bolton, Alicia Lopez, Shawn Bolton, Brandon Bolton, Tyler Lowry and Megan Lowry; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
Everyone loved him and will miss him terribly!
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Michael Ann.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Pat’s name to Hospice Compassus of Flagstaff or the Cancer Center of Northern Arizona.
Norvel Owens Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
