Imogene McGee, 87, of Snowflake peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014, in Snowflake. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, located at 2350 E. Greenway Road in Phoenix. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, at the National Cemetery of Arizona, located at 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.

She was born the last of 12 children to the late Arthur and Maggie Jane (Hughes) Blythe on Jan. 25, 1927, in Gowen, Okla.

Imogene loved music and was a talented singer. A loving mother, grandmother and friend, she will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include her daughter, Regina Countryman of Lakeside; two grandchildren, Matthew and James McGee; and four great-grandchildren.
