Snowflake returns six players with varsity experience from last year’s final four run as the Lady Lobos get the volleyball season underway next weekend with their season opening scrimmage contest.   All five seniors, Shayna Austin, Aubry Flake, Sydney Olson, Emma Tenney and Shelby Reidhead, along with junior Melissa Eich, return to a loaded team for Coach Alan Ramage.  Joining them on the roster at this time are juniors Mikelle Stradling, Tori Flake, Eilee Penrod and Bailey Standerfer.

Despite playing in the very difficult Division III, the Lobos should be favored for another deep playoff run. Snowflake went 31-10 last season with that difficult schedule.

Following their participation in a five-team scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 30, where they will be joined by Monument Valley, Tuba City, Sedona and Parker, the Lobos will get their season started on Wednesday, Sept. 3, when they host Window Rock. Three days later they travel to Monument Valley.
