Larry Duane Brimhall passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, in Show Low, surrounded by his wife and children. The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Centennial Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taylor, followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m.
He was born Aug. 11, 1927, to Joseph and May Brimhall.
He worked hard in various construction trades, including finishing concrete, home building and commercial buildings, and as a principal partner that started Brimhall Sand and Rock in 1959.
He was a member of the LDS church, where he served a mission in the Southwest Mission (Montana, Wyoming and Iowa). He also served several ward missions, was on the Bishopric High Council and served in many other callings. He loved his family and the Lord.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Brimhall; his children, David (Debbie) Brimhall, Kathi (Kirk) Davis, Deborah (Kenneth) Willis, Kirk (Wendy) Brimhall, Keith (Shari) Brimhall, Kevin (Daphne) Brimhall, Ivy (Greg) Lunt and Lana (Don) Godfrey; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Brimhall; and his daughter, Ra’nae Brimhall.
Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
