An Arizona District 04 National Barrel Horse Association competition was held Sept. 13 in Springerville.

In 1-D competition, Kelly Waide, riding Hommer, won with a time of 16.607, earning $210.

In 2-D competition, London Willis, riding Macy Grey, won with a time of 17.164, earning $77; followed by Michele Stock on Cash in 17.199, earning $58; Megan Stock on Payday in 17.203, earning $39; and Bailee Bain on Lena in 17.426, earning $19.

In 3-D competition, Janie Henson, riding Mighty, won with a time of 17.843, earning $67; followed by Laurie Pulsipher on Chase in 17.858, earning $50; Lisa Johnson on Brice in 17.861, earning $34; Merrilea McBride on Shrek in 17.896, earning $17; Chad Pulsipher on Denny in 17.959; Carolee DeWitt on Jet in 17.994; London Willis on Romeo in 18.065; and Brigitte Kennison on Halle in 18.089.

In 2-D competition, Pandora Wyatt, riding Skeet, won with a time of 18.923, earning $35; followed by Jolene Baird on Jessie in 18.924, earning $23.

In 3-D competition, Merrilea McBride, riding Ed, won with a time of 19.866, earning $23; followed by Betty Campbell on Boone in 20.817, earning $15; and Peggy McCorkle on Beep with no time.

The next competition is scheduled on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Apache County Fairgrounds in St. Johns. Time onlys are slated at 8 a.m., pee wees at 9:45 a.m. and the race at 10 a.m.
